A smoother experience for assets clients share by hand
Some assets cannot be delegated through an API and have to be shared by the client inside the platform itself: Meta Ad Accounts, Meta Pixels, Google Ads accounts and Google Search Console properties. Digitalsero has guided clients through these semi-manual grants for a long time, but the instructions were a strip of annotated screenshots and some clients dropped off halfway.
We have reworked the whole experience. Each step is numbered and says whether the client needs to act or just read. Screenshots sit in a browser-style frame with a caption repeating what to do, and open full size on click. Anything the client has to copy, such as your partner ID or email, has its own copy button that confirms when it worked. Common snags, like Meta refusing to assign assets, have their answer folded in right where they happen.
The Confirm step now tells the client exactly what is still missing, errors appear next to the button rather than at the top of the page, and pressing Next too early raises a short reminder. Once the grant lands, the page moves on by itself.
Meta Ad Account went first in August, followed by Meta Pixel, Google Ads and Google Search Console in September. Since the rollout we have seen a clear rise in completed semi-manual grants, and we keep watching the numbers and fine-tuning the steps.
